Dr. Camilla Blondi
From 1990 to 2003, she collaborated with Professor Gabriela Piana at the Department of Dental Sciences of the University of Bologna, participating in research protocols related to Paediatric dentistry and diseases of odontostomatological relevance in individuals with disabilities.
In 1995, she won a three-year Research Grant awarded for a research project on: “The rehabilitation of the stomatognathic system in patients with disabilities suffering from malformations in the cephalic area”, and in 2000, she won a scholarship for a research project on: “Orthopedic-orthodontic therapies in individuals with disabilities” from the Department of Dental Sciences of the University of Bologna.
From 2000 to 2013, she was an adjunct professor of Endopedodontics, teaching Pedodontics at Dentistry and Dental Prosthesis school at the University of Siena. Over the years she has been a speaker at a number of postGraduated training courses: “Orthopedics in the II and III classes: “Diagnosis and Therapy”, “Endodontics of deciduous teeth”, “Craniofacial Orthopedics: diagnosis and Therapy” and “Diagnosis and non-surgical therapy of the III classes” at the University of Siena.
Since 1990, she has exclusively dealt with Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.
Dr. Biagio Patanè
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Catania. In 1996, he specialised in Stomatology at the University of Siena. In 2000, he specialised in Orthodontics at the University of Siena.
In 2006, he obtained a Second Level Specialising Master in surgical therapy of pathologies of the Temporomandibular joint.
From 2000 to 2005, he was an Adjunct Professor in Preventive Stomatology at the University of Siena, where he participated in numerous courses as a lecturer, and in research protocols in the medical and dental fields.
Since 2012, he has been a lecturer clinical instructor at Master in passive self- ligating systematics at the University of Siena.
Since 2014, he has been a lecturer at Master in Advanced Clinical Orthodontics at the University of Siena. He is the author of articles in Italian and foreign journals on: craniofacial development, birth trauma, new technologies in the orthodontic field, and the correlations between orthodontics, respiratory and postural problems. He has dealt exclusively with Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics since 1993, with particular attention on functional therapy and Orthopedic dento-maxillo- facial therapy in the developmental age.
Since 1993, he has also been dealing with problems related to imbalances in the muscles of the oral cavity, with a particular focus on oral habits and the use of external devices (e.g. dummies) during the child’s first years.
Our assistants
Alice
Alice is a veteran of the practice: she handles the secretarial duties and she welcomes both old and new patients with her warm smile. At the end of the appointment, she chooses a gift to reward the bravest children for their courage.
Laura
Laura arrived to replace Alice during her maternity leave but has stayed with us ever since! She supports our work in the dental chair, and is also responsible for the laboratory and sterilisation of equipment. Sweet and smiling, she is well loved by children.
Alessia
Alessia is our newest arrival at Oral Park! She is responsible for assisting with chairside procedures, laboratory work, sterilisation, and is very good at taking pictures! Her joyful character makes our days and those of our patients better and happier
