In 2006, he obtained a Second Level Specialising Master in surgical therapy of pathologies of the Temporomandibular joint.
From 2000 to 2005, he was an Adjunct Professor in Preventive Stomatology at the University of Siena, where he participated in numerous courses as a lecturer, and in research protocols in the medical and dental fields.
Since 2012, he has been a lecturer clinical instructor at Master in passive self- ligating systematics at the University of Siena.
Since 2014, he has been a lecturer at Master in Advanced Clinical Orthodontics at the University of Siena. He is the author of articles in Italian and foreign journals on: craniofacial development, birth trauma, new technologies in the orthodontic field, and the correlations between orthodontics, respiratory and postural problems. He has dealt exclusively with Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics since 1993, with particular attention on functional therapy and Orthopedic dento-maxillo- facial therapy in the developmental age.
Since 1993, he has also been dealing with problems related to imbalances in the muscles of the oral cavity, with a particular focus on oral habits and the use of external devices (e.g. dummies) during the child’s first years.
